Travel to London by Train

Stansted Express

Stansted Express offers the fastest way to travel between London Stansted Aiport and London. Trains depart every 15 minutes and take just 47 minutes to and from London Liverpool Street.

If you have an early flight departing at London Stansted, the train services start at 03.40am- from London Liverpool Street to the airport- on Monday, Friday and Saturday mornings.

Travel to London by Taxi

There is a taxi rank available outside London Stansted Airport if you would prefer to travel this way. London Stansted Airport has teamed up with ‘minicabit’ to give all their travellers the opportunity to book taxis from the airport quickly and easily.

Travelling to London by Bus & Coach

The bus/coach station is just a 2-minute walk from the airport terminal.

You can currently pre-book two bus and coach providers who operate daily and frequent services to and from London. Many services have stops which access the London Underground and all key London train stations, including London Paddington, Waterloo, Victoria, Liverpool Street and Kings Cross/St Pancras.

Airport Bus Express

Pre-book your seat with reputable Airport Bus Express who offer great value and frequent services to London, running every 30 minutes from 06:00am to 02:00am.  They have a fleet of new coaches all fitted with toilets and offering free on board Wi-Fi, power sockets, air conditioning, heating and spacious comfy seating.  Airport Bus Express offer 2 routes to and from London as follows:

Service A21:  Stansted to Liverpool Street, calling at Stratford.

Service A20:  Stansted to Victoria Bus/Coach Station, calling at Baker Street (Gloucester Place).

National Express

Pre-book a low cost coach transfer with National Express and travel in comfort at affordable prices.  The majority of coaches are fitted with leather seats, toilets, power sockets and air conditioning.   National Express offers over 200 daily services to London on 4 routes as follows:

Service A6:   Stansted to Portman Square, calling at; Golders Green, Finchley Road, St John’s Wood, Baker Street, Paddington, Marble Arch and Portman Square.

Service A7:   Stansted to Victoria Coach Station, calling at; Bow, Mile End, Whitechapel, Southwark, Waterloo, Victoria Train Station and Victoria Bus/Coach Station.

Service A8:  Stansted to Kings Cross, calling at; South Hackney, Bethnal Green, Shoreditch, Liverpool Street, Farringdon and Kings Cross London (bus stop is adjacent to St Pancras International Train Station).

Service A9: Stansted to London Stratford, direct service to London Stratford.
