London Heathrow is located 15 miles west of central London and easily reached by road or public transport. It is the second busiest aiport in the world by obtaining over 73 million international passenger traffic annually!
Heathrow Aiport Transfers
Train- Heathrow Express
The fastest link between Heathrow and Central London. Non-stop trains run to Paddington Station every 15 minutes, and journey time is around 15-20 minutes from Terminals 2 and 3 (a few more minutes more from Terminals 4 and 5). However this can be seen as a rather expensive option.
TfL Train
TfL Rail’s Service link the aiport with local stations in West London and will form part of the Elizabeth line when it opens in Autumn 2019. TfL Rail services take just 30 minutes between Terminals 2,3 & 4 and Central London and depart every 30 minutes.
Best way to purchase tickets will be at the ticket machines available at the station using contactless card or Oyster Card.
Taxis
London taxis are available outside every terminal. This is the most expensive option with the price to central London around £45-70 and the journey time is roughly an hour.
London Underground
The most cost-effective rail route to central London. The Piccadilly Line train runs from all terminals, however, journey time is around 50-60 minutes. There are frequent trains and should not have to wait over 10 minutes for one, even off-peak.
London Heathrow has three London Underground stations- one for Terminals 2 and 3 and one each at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.

Coaches and buses connect Heathrow with the national rail network at Feltham, Reading, Woking and Watford Junction. You can purchase a combined coach and train ticket to cover your whole journey. You don’t have to be a rail passenger to use these services.
