Why you should see this

This is a gothic story that is both dark but also uplifting andthe score is one that will lift you out of your seat.

It can be difficult to combine this sort of genre with love andtragedy but this musical manages to do it.Nothing about the horror is hammy and the love, jealously, frustration and despair, are all brilliantly intertwined andsupported by the music.

The story is essentially something of a tragedy and humour isn’taround in abundance but it is a human narrative that is somehowinspirational at the same time as being immensely sad.

Note that some scenes may be a little frightening for very youngchildren.
